Aaaaahhh. today was Orange Chill. I love citrus and as simple a scent that this is, it was the perfect way to start the day. On Long Island, we are having near 60 deg temps and a touch of something more summer like was being called for. Add to that the fact that I can eat oranges by the bushel just made it all work out great. The menthol was also appreciated after a very close shave yesterday that was close enough today to skip on the weekend, or until about 2 pm but not enough for work. I like a clean, close shave for work. No irritation, nicely moisturized (I did add some Nivia PSB to help a bit) and close and comfortable.

Off to a great start to the day!

Next Tuesday(I believe)is supposed to hit 70 here in metrowest Boston. Never thought I'd bring out my Glacial Wintergreen soap in Feb., but that will be an appropriate day to do so.

I'm still partially numb from this shave with the Glacial MITA soap - what a freeze. The Glacial Unscented balm was ice-cold too!

Just received my 1st Sterling shave soaps (the 3" pucks). Tried out the Executive Man. I found it to have superior lathering. Just a bit better than my B&M Saville but the Seville is still my favorite scent and the scent seems a bit more robust than the Sterling. Overall, I think that I'm a Sterling devotee. Will try the Baker Street tomorrow. I like it that the soaps from Sterling are pliable and conform to my various
    soap containers.

Had such an amazing shave today! Stirling Spice did this vintage inspired shave justice. I recently won a restored vintage shaving brush and better way to break it in than with Stirling

Hope everyone has a great weekend, I'm off to Belgium for 2 weeks.[IMG]

@Norcalnewb, I really like the look of the Stirling marble brush. How do you like it's performance and feel in the hand?

A question about Gentleman-is there a solid mix of the vanilla and tobacco, is there more of one than the other?

I have to say, I am really impressed with the performance of this brush for the price. I have been using synthetic brushes for a while, and decided to try this one. I am glad I did. It definitely whips up a nice lather, and feels great on the face. It has a little scritch, but not too much. Nice back bone for face lathering. The handle is very comfortable to me, although I will say I thought it would be a little heavier than it actually is. All in all, a very nice brush.
