At the moment, it's been Eight O'Clock beans and grind when needed. If I don't need a full pot, I use my Keurig 475 with reusable K-cup filter.
I have a local company do a custom dark roast for me. I like acidic a little bitter very strong and a little chocolatey. I have a Jura espresso machine and start they day with espresso or espresso macchiato. Always a double.
An acquaintance started a coffee roasting company and sent some free samples to our company to try. The were all too light for me, told him what I liked and he made it for me. It nice to deal with small business that care and are hungry for business. Ok, I have to admit I do feel a bit nuvea riche with a custom blend I thought all penguins enjoyed a strong cuppa of espresso
Community Coffee was on sale at Publix buy one get one free. So...I'll have my choice between home roasted or Community Coffee for a while. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
Cafe Bustelo instant again, yesiree Bob. Along with half a gluten free muffin topped with butter, sausage, cheese and egg. Now I'm ready to face the day. Or have more coffee. Not decided yet.
Community Dark Roast today. At work for a @%!#@$ day shift so no chicory...but still a good cuppa joe.
Coffee and Science? I'm sold! Plus, it's a really cool logo. (Yeah, I'm probably going to order some at some point.)
I am going to have to get another can of coffee before my next pot. One of my sons got me this coffeemaker for Father's Day. I had a 5 cup Mr. Coffee, but now I can make 12 cups. I like my coffee black.
I have to watch my caffeine intake so I drink half decaf/half regular. I find it difficult to find locally a lot of variety where the regular and decaf are the same flavor but for awhile now I've been enjoying a dark French Roast Arabica that's distributed by Spartan Stores. My regular coffee maker is a standard Hamilton Beach 12 cup automatic drip but when time allows I have several different percolators, dripolators, and vacuum makers. I probably have less than 20 coffee makers so it's nothing like my shaving addiction.
This was my setup for the last two weeks while I was outside the US. On the left is a travel hot pot, switchable between 110 and 220. On the right is a manual k cup thingy called the Presto My Jo. $13 on Amazon. I don't use k cups at home, but for traveling the thing is fantastic.
Peet's Major Dickason's Blend ground in Baratza Virtuoso on 30 and brewed in a Bodum Bistro french press. I froth milk in a Bodum manual milk frother for a nice cafe au lait. And it gets drunk from a vintage Victor diner mug. Had to throw that in there.
Here ya go Fuzzy, since you didn't like my last post on my Starbucks breakfast blend, hows about this one?
