    Monday.
    Prep: Hot towel
    Pre shave: Prep
    Razor: Sensor Excel
    Blade: N/A
    Brush: Rough,No Name Boar
Soap: Uncle Jon's 'It's just Cake'
Post: Cold water rinse / Witch Hazel / ASB

a quality shave with 'It's just Cake', in both performance, and scent... thankfully, my wife enjoys baking cake, so that's an added bonus..... although, I've gained 5lbs since shaving with this soap... ;-)

    Thursday.
    Prep: Hot towel
    Pre shave: Prep
    Razor: Sensor Excel
    Blade: N/A
    Brush: Rough,No Name Boar
    Soap: Phoenix and Beau 'Denali'
Post: Cold water rinse / Witch Hazel / The Sudsy Soapery: Lavender & Peppermint Aftershave Splash

Phoenix and Beau 'Denali', what a wonderful lather...finished off with the chilling, eye watering post shave that is The Sudsy Soapery: Lavender & Peppermint Aftershave Splash ...

    Saturday
    Prep: Hot towel
    Pre shave: Prep
    Razor: Barbaros TR-1
    Blade: Timor
Brush: 'El Monstruo' (Romera Manchurian 30/50 Fan)
    Soap: Wholly Kaw 'Cuero Oscuro'
Post: Cold water rinse / Witch Hazel / Wholly Kaw 'Cuero Oscuro' Aftershave Toner
    Fragrance: Tom Ford 'Tuscan Leather'

the TR-1/Timor combo turned in a very underwhelming performance... I wonder whether the Timor is a just a 'one shave' blade...whatever the reason, the end result is BBS, even though it wasn't a pleasant experience, and finished off with Tuscan Leather, so it's not all bad, eh?

Shampoo - Paul Mitchell (Tea Tree) Lavender Mint
    Shower Soap - Pinaud Clubman
    [IMG]
Razor - Vintage Gillette Superspeed circa 1947-1952 (re-plated in nickel by Razor Emporium)
Blade - BiC Chrome-Platinum *Fresh Blade
Brush - Declaration Grooming "Fatty" in custom green color
Brush stand by Desire Metal Works
    Razor Stand by RV Shaving
Shave Soap - Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements Clubguy
Preshave Oil - Lather & Wood Unscented
    Aftershave - Pinaud Clubman
Post-shave Balm - Cilo Super Anitoxidant Serum
Deodorant - Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements Clubguy
Fragrance - Chanel Pour Monsieur EDP

Took a day off from shaving, and came back with this incredible, stalwart scent combo. If you have the means to buy the Chanel Pour Monsieur EDP, I highly recommend combining it to Clubman Pinaud.

Also, performed my ritual blade change today. This specific, ordinary hand soap I've found removes the residues that that are commonly left behind by the best shave soaps. It outperforms the dishwashing liquids I've tried by miles. I only sometimes use dishwashing liquid if I encounter a greasy coating, but the Softsoap with Aloe even does good at breaking up oils too. I also use it to clean the residue out of my sink.

04/20/2018 - Friday Night Shave. Omega boar with the Colonial General Aluminum. A new scent by Uncle Jon - really unique & also his Tallow Formula is top notch. I normally am not a huge fan of witch hazel splashes, but this cloudy splash is really nice!
    take care - Jamie

Yeah. I figured I would pass along a simple item that really worked that was surprisingly decent at removing soap residue. The setup is classy but the scent is what is the focus, along with the shave. The rest is just nice to look at.

    Arko Adjustable April!!

    April 21

    Razor - 1962 (H1) Gillette Slim (6)
    Blade - [IMG] (3)
    Pre-Shave - Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap
    Soap - Arko
    Brush - BoS Omega 10066
    Post - Alum

Final shave on this combination. Third day on the Perma-Sharp and it's definitely not done yet. Great blade from St. Pete. Still as smooth as day one, as sharp it seems, as effective - The BoS and Arko were awesome and I opened the hole in the ring of death in the mug a bit more. Still plenty of soap left, of course, but we're getting there.

Two passes, touch up, BBS, quiet alum - all around great shave. Nothing more to say. Now to figure out whether to go another three shaves on an adjustable or break off and give a Fuzzy loaner a try. That's a decision for tomorrow. For now I'm just enjoying a fine shave.

Razor - Gillette Superspeed (circa 1947-1952) (Re-plated in Nickel Finish by Razor Emporium)
    Blade - BiC Chrome-Platinum *2nd shave
Shave Brush - Declaration Grooming "Fatty" in custom green color
Shave Cream - Proctor & Gamble Old Spice "Fresh Lime"
Suribachi Lather Bowl handmade by Of the Dirt Pottery
Deodorant - Shulton Old Spice Lime Talc (circa 1967-1970)
Aftershave - Shulton Old Spice Lime (circa 1966-1976)
Fragrance - Shulton Old Spice Lime Cologne Splash (circa 1966-1976)

Not using the bath soap this time around because the soap is incredibly hard to find and extremely expensive when it's on ebay most of the time.

I'll try to use Old Spice Lime for the summer on many Sundays.
