    Omega 11126
    OSP Bay run
    Schick J3-golden 500
    Schick Proline [ 7 ]
    Pitralon Polar A/S lotion

I have always found the Golden 500 to be comfortable to Shave with, but used with this AC blade it moves on to a different level. Today had an extremely smooth and comfortable Shave, and without causing any problems managed to get an ultra close finish.

First use of the Mixed Midget and after the Wee Scot it feels like a monster.
A little bit of scritch and it eats the lather but I'm sure both of these issues will resolve themselves over time.
The Dammo works really well with the extra length and weight the 1914 handle affords it.
A very nice start to the week indeed.
    Happy Shaving one and all.

Darwin HG Razor / Schick Proline

    Thayer's Lemon WH
    Aqua Velva Musk

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The C.O. Bigelow Shaving Cream face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #284 synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Darwin Hollow Ground Safety Razor with a Darwin Hollow Ground blade, and I just could not get a close shave. I ended up using my Schick E3 for clean up and ended with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Battle of the Aluminum Artist blade razors . General vs. razorock

razorock is just too mild for me and takes more effort for my bbs - the GENERAL WINS!

    Razor: Gem Junior Bar

Brush: Whipped Dog 24 mm Slivertip
    Lather: Arko Shave Stick
Aftershave: Mixture Aqua Velva Musk/Clubman/Lilac Vegetal

Aggression-wise this razor is on the opposite end of the spectrum from yesterday's 1914 shave, but end result was the same, BBS. Very mild, very forgiving, very nice. IMG_20180424_030536~01~01.jpg

    Tues 24th April

    RazoRock Plissoft 22mm
    Cyril Salter Solid Soap
    Schick Type F
    Schick S/S single [ 7 -Japanese ]
    Jaguar Prestige A/S lotion.

I find it hard to describe how the Type F Shaves, it might be said it is mild, I find it to be very Smooth and efficient. It certainly today provided me with a really satisfying and relaxed Shave, and I will say that my cheeks
have never been so smooth, with other areas being very close shaven. The blade used today works very well, but I doubt that I will buy more as they were brought in error a they are packaged like the Twins and are quite expensive. I will try out a Proline or NOS Schick.

Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: Personna
    Razor: Personna injector
    Brush: Zenith B02 boar
Soap: Jeeves of Hudson Street Bay Rum
Post: Witch hazel, Jeeves of Hudson Street Tobacco Bay Leaf aftershave

The Personna injector with Personna blade provided a fine shave this morning. It's certainly a mild razor but also gets the job done with ease. Have a great day!

    Jayaruh #284
Darwin Hollow Ground Safety / Schick H1
Darwin HG Razor / Schick Proline B20
    CWR
    Thayer's Lemon WH
    Aqua Velva Musk

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Tabac Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #284 synthetic brush. I did one pass with the Darwin Hollow Ground Safety Razor with a Darwin Hollow Ground blade and didn't seem to make a dent. I took the blade and stropped it on my big strop 40 laps on the linen side and 40 laps on the leather. I started a second pass, but there was not much difference. I ended up using my Schick H1 with a Schick Proline B20 blade to accomplish a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Pre: Warm water face wash
    Brush: Wee Scot
    Soap: T&H Sandalwood
    Razor: DeHaven Model 3
    Blade: Proline B
Post: Warm then Cold water rinse, Bart's Balm Rosemary & Sandalwood ASL
    IMG_20180424_161123.jpg

I thought I'd see how the DeHaven coped with >30hrs growth and it did pretty well.
It's a very smooth operator although not quite as efficient as a 1914, which was my initial thoughts but it took a bit more tidying up around the chin and neck than the 1914.
All in all a decent shave, finished off with the lovely smelling @BartsBalm ASL although personally I prefer the balm to the lotion.
    Happy Shaving one and all.
