What a shave

Cheap as it is, the Gillette 7 O'Clock Tech is one of my favorite razors, but today's real winner was the Speick SS - milled into a bowl

 

A bit rushed today so just went with a basic no frills shave...

Had to go with a comfort shave after using a Feather blade:mad: the last couple days---Feathers are far from my favorite blades.

Bill sent me the MTBB sample. This was my first shave with it. I loved the menthol, but I couldn't get decent lather out of it. Going to try again, might not have gotten the water ratio right.

A/S: Dickinson’s Witch Hazel/Wesley & Scott Lavender balm

The ancient herbalists thought that lavender had a calming and soothing effect. It certainly does with me! I didn’t get quite the shave that I did yesterday, but it was a solid DFS--can’t complain.

The witch hazel and lavender balm finish topped the shave off in a very pleasant way.

A/S: Speick Aftershave Splash

I could hardly wait for my Shavemac 208 to come up in rotation again. This monster effortlessly produced a copious amount of rich creamy lather from the Cyril Salter soap. My Cooncat razor with the once used Super Iridium blade glided across my face like a Zamboni machine on an ice rink. The Speick aftershave splash provided the perfect finish to a perfect shave.

Fantastic second shave for the day - had to try the Speick out again.

Too bad the company doesn't put out an actual puck.

Suddenly in love with the Super Adjusable after cranking it up to 9.

Smooth in 2 passes, and I then whipped up some more lather to take off two weeks' growth off my chest and 68-pack.

nothing to be sorry about, I appreciate the chance to try it, and it still performed well, it was slick, I just like thick lather. I am sure I can do better with it. It may also have something to do with changing states. It was a hot day when it arrived and it was liquid. It is solid again now though.
