I still haven't tried the last item on my list— the Cobra—BUT, I have been fortunate to be allowed to try another terrific razor that, in hindsight, should have been on my list: the Barbasol Floating head. This razor has completely impressed me! FINALLY, a vintage DE razor that shaves as close, comfortably and aggressively as my modern Mühles. Plus, it is a brawny, knurl-handled razor that simply states, "A Man's Razor." ;)

p.s. If you happen to see one come up on ebay, please do not bid on it. I am certain you will not like it and instead, go for that coveted Fat Boy you've always dreamed about. :D

So, I wrote the above in early January....
Now, 3 months later, I have only "achieved" #1 but have experienced so many more and different products that I don't think I three months ago even knew existed.

If you made a post in this thread months ago...it may be interesting for you as well to go back and see what you thought you'd be trying ;)

Well I thought I had completed two out of three when I tried arko and smelled sandalwood. Now I realize I wanted to try bayrum not sandalwood. Time to try to convince SWMBO to let me buy one more item for my den.
