Thanks for the compliment. Steve makes beautiful products...you can find him on the Inet if interested. This is a smaller scuttle so I use it for a brush scuttle. A perfect size for the Barbear Classicos.

    Pre-shave: GFT Sandalwood Skin Food
    Brush: Edwin Jagger Best Badger
    Shave soap: GFT Sandalwood
Razor: 1969 Gillette Super Speed Flaretip with Wilkinson Sword blade
After Shave: GFT Sandalwood Skin Food

I think it is now official that the problem yesterday with the Col. Conk soap was due to the blade. I have now realised that every time I look like the victim of some violent crime in the face I have used Wilkinson Sword blades. Luckily enough I only have a blade or two left. I sort of scrape through the skin in a way I never (or at least very seldom) do with most other blades. The GFT soap is not the problem because it has proved brilliant so many times before. Thank God for the Alum Block.

The blade is stamped "Faultless." That's the only marking on the razor.

I saw Steve's site a while back and really liked the looks of his scuttles. (The one you have looks like a new style; very nice!)
Since I have two Robert Becker Scuttles and a Georgetown Pottery Scuttle, I'm about scuttled out but, I really do like the looks of Steve's Artwork and beautiful glazing. The size of yours is just right as well; not too big and not too small. Enjoy that scuttle and the warm lather it delivers. :happy088:

Thought I recognized the ol' 'poster edges' filter...It can be effective in creating a convincing 'poster art' illustrative effect to many images.:happy088:

    Prep: Homemade PSO
    Brush: Simpson Duke
    Soap: DR Harris Arlington
    Razor: Mekur 38C
    Blade: Gillette 7 O'Clock Black (4)
    Post: Thayer's Cucumber WH

A much improved shave over yesterday's. I reverted to familiar tools and products and was well rewarded with a near BBS. Moral of the story... When in doubt, go with what you know.

On duty at the Squadron for overnight, so no pictures. This was the first time I've tossed a Shark SC into this razor and had the most amazing shaves this wonderful razor has dealt out yet. I'm going to finish this pack off completely and see if it's worth ordering a few hundred of them.

Prep: hot shower, Proraso pre-shave white
    Razor: WW2 Gillette Tech
    Blade: Klenzo (day 3)
    Brush: Vie-Long
    Soap: Proraso Green
    Passes: 2 (WTG, XTG)
Post: dove men hydrate +,Firehouse Wacky Tacky Moustache wax

Same shave as yesterday's, but today I did not forget the ASB. The menthol kick wasn't as intense today which was a little disappointing. The Klenzo blade doesn't seem to be for me, to much tugging and pulling.
