I just wanted to show off my Antiquing find from Alaska. This was my best Antiquing trip yet. I got them both for $25.00 tax included.

I was thinking about referbing the box a little like changing the velvet and polishing it. I know it takes away from the antiquity of the piece but I was wanting. To use it not just look at it. Any thoughts?

The brush is awesome! Is that razor a Gillette? The stem and ball end looks different than a Gillette Old Type.

I don't think it is, it is definatly old but I see no markings on it to declare it being a gillette I did see a number stamped on it but not sure I can post some better pics of it when I get home I thought it may have been military or some foreign millitary style.

Thought so. There where a lot of companies that made razors similar to the Gillette razors.

Are there any marking on it at all? I seem to recall some rare Gillette Canadian razors that looked like that, and the case looks like an ABC basket weave.
    Great score.
