It followed me home

    Passed a table at the flea market at lunch and saw a nice 1914 Ever Ready razor in a box. Darned if it didn't follow me home because it needed a bath...

    Looks like I have to get out the scrubbing bubbles and ultrasonic cleaner. No brassing, just dirty.

    That isn't a 1924- it is a 1914.

    You are right about that. I thought it looked different, but I couldn't put my finger on it, and I didn't feel like looking it up. The 14 is hard for me to open and close. Other than that, it shaves pretty well.

    Very nice, I love the '14 ER's. That style handle and the bigger, better blade stops came out around 1921. Here's an ad from 1923:
