Join Me in Same Aftershave September?

Motivated by the thought behind @Darkbulb 's No Buy July (to appreciate what you've got) I had decided to use the same aftershave all through out the month of September. I have a half dozen, some get neglected. So I wanted to take one that I like a lot, and use it all month long.

Tonight I thought maybe some of you may want to join me. If so, please do. Don't let the fact that you've already shaved today or beyond by the time you've read this, just start when you start. There are no rules in shaving.

I'm going to use Pinaud Clubman all month long. Instead of switching creams/soaps and afterhaves, I'm going to be seeing what creams/soaps I have mix well with Clubman.

 

It's a nice idea but I kind of already use all my AS because I don't have many different ones =P

I've been using Superior 70 for the last few years. Nothing new here.

I would like to have your back on this, but I am afraid I would grow to hate the a/s I would choose to use for that long.

I think I'm going to use a Gem G-bar all month long too.

 

I'm in starting tomorrow. I'm going to use HTGAM The Beach AS. Leaves are already turning color. Need to try and extend the summer vibe with one month straight of The Beach

 

Maybe if it was theme weeks instead of a whole month I'd be in
Like;
- Stirling Splash Week
- Tabac Old-Man week,
- Bay Rum Pirate week,
- etc, etc, etc.

..and post them a month in advance so one can plan.

One month for one A/S is a bit too much of a commitment for me

 

I would never be able to go through with this. I change my mind a thousand times before I even pick up my razor.

 

That's kind of why I wanted to do this. I don't want much to think about. One razor that can take one blade and I'll use one aftershave. The only thing I have to think about are cream/soap and the brush.

 

Theme weeks? This is shaving, not Wheel of Fortune.

 

It'll be easy for me to participate because I've been using the Same AS for almost 20yrs...Plain ole' Witch Hazel.

Let's really make this a challenge and use the same blade for a whole month...Feel the burn!

 

I use the scentless Lucido AS most of the time, but I like to keep my options open I'm afraid.
Every once in a while I like to date other aftershaves, so a whole month is too much of a commitment at this point in my life.

Almost be better to make a thread call "Which negeleted AS did you use today?" just to encourage the usage of those ones that make it to the back of the medicine cabinet that you forget about cause you don't see

 

Im in , in a couple of days, just waiting for my Pinaud clubman vanilla to arrive.
but if i hate it I reserve the right to return to using my trusted Clubmans special reserve for the rest of the month.

 

Which Pinaud Clubman are you going to use?

I hope so. I got given a bottle of special reserve and I really like that, but it is hard to find Clubman aftershaves in Europe at a decent price, I would like to try the other clubman aftershaves in the future.
