It's not easy, but being a good person is far more important than having cool stuff. So good for you Omaney!
I had a similar crisis of conscience. My aunt Nina told me I could have my uncle Frank's Slim. I felt bad because he was shaving with it when she grabbed it and handed it to me. Nina also boxed up her cat for Christmas. She went to live in a special home shortly after.
The whole cat thing was just a minor misunderstanding, but grabbing a man's SLIM from him while he is in the shaving zone well that is over the top! Corrective action was justified!
Well, I'm now the non-owner of a Fatboy. Thanks for all of the props y'all. I truly wasn't trolling for praise, appreciated as it has been. I was merely expressing my lament. And don't cats belong in boxes?
We know you weren't trolling for praise, but we just wanted you to know that your actions were indeed highly thought of. They speak of kindness, consideration and generosity—three traits we all wish were in greater supply.
Maybe sometime he will inherit a nice razor from some uncle he didn't like and think of you. Either way it was a great thing to do. I have my grandfather's 1960 tech, to me it is priceless. Hopefully his grandfather's razor means as much to him, especially since he wet shaves now.
Had to pass on a 222 had agreed on price and meet, she called about 5 minutes later and nephew wanted great grandpa's gun. She told me since we had agreed I could still have, but in good conscience told her to keep in the family.
Give it back to him cleaned and freshly polished and oiled you will sleep with a clear mind and heart...kudos
Yes. Yes they do. Or at least not in the house...a cat's poo-paws on my counters, furniture, pillow... And a truly gentlemanly gesture on the razor that is very much appreciated by the Den, if by no one else!
tell him you have no idea what your gonna manscape with now. return it with a few forearm hairs hanging off it. maybe he's not as sentimental as he thought. you know I'm kidding, you did right
