    Brush: Simpson 56 Best Badger
    Soap: Stirling Bay Rum
    Razor: Merkur 41c 1904 OC
    Blade: Bic Chrome Platinum (3)
    Passes: WTG, XTG (6, 7)
    Post: Cold water splash, Bloc Osma Alum, Dickinson's WH, Captain's Choice Cat o' Nine Tails AS splash
    Cologne: Gigember Estragone by Dr. Vranjes

    I opened the tin for my Stirling Bay Rum this AM to find that the soap had cracked down the middle, nearly all the way through. That said, with a drier brush and half again as much product as I typically use, I was able to get a good, fairly stable lather from it, with plenty of glide and decent skincare. The Bic is still going strong, as I expected. The Cat o' Nine Tails didn't burn as much as it sometimes does, but then again, the alum didn't sting either. DFS results for two passes.

    I thought that Voskhod blades were very smooth until I tried the Ladas blade.

    Thanks Kevin! I wish the weather was as you show it above with sunshine and palm trees but it's going to be raining and 22 MPH winds when I'm there!

    DFS on 2passes, so I quit while i was ahead! Face is feeling good, Arko makes MOUNTAINS of lather, enough for like 5 passes...Alum Block was quiet today.:)
