Repeat of yesterday except as I reached for a fresh Feather I discovered I would need to go over to my Man Cave to retrieve a fresh pack. There was an open pack of Super-Max Super Platinum and Wilkinson Sword sitting there so I grabbed a Super-Max. The Castle makes a fast warm lather with a nice slick cushion. The heavy handle and head of my FB helped with the Super-Max as it is not as sharp as the Feather. Got an Ok 2 pass shave as I did not want to use more pressure to get closer. I pitched the blade, and moved a pack of Feathers into the bathroom. Have a good one! Go Bama!

Thanks! It's an "Old Spice original Shulton 1983 Porcelain Sail Boat" I snagged off of the bay. It still has After Shave in it, and it is rather heavy. Not very practical for dispensing product, but it's hand painted, and I'm an Old Spice junkie, so I could not pass it up.

I had to give Arko another whirl. Great shave and a terrible post shave. This stuff irritates my skin and leaves it itchy. I don't even really mind the scent that much. Have a good one.

Those are awesome handles! I don't thing the blue one fits in as it is crowding out the others. I will gladly offer it a home in my Den. :love029:

To bad. I just haven't gotten good shaves with it yet. I should also give it another chance.

But for the important question, What's up with all the handles? =)

    Mitchell's Wool Fat Shaving Soap
    Omega Pro 98 Boar Brush
    Gillette English NEWtopia LC
    Personna Stainless Comfort Coated
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayers Lemon WH
    Pinaud Clubman AS

The Mitchell's Wool Fat Shaving Soap face-lathered very easily with my Omega Pro 98 Boar Brush. Two passes with my Gillette English NEWtopia LC and Personna Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Pinaud Clubman after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Blade: Ladas
    Lather: Seifenglatt Neroli
    Brush: hjm Badger
    Post: Alum. Dickerson WH
    Aftershave: Clubman
Late shave! I've been waiting for my Mail carrier to bring my Seifenglatt Neroli, and I'm glad I waited! Pine, earthy type of scent, it was so easy to lather, 20 swirls and I was ready to go. Very slick and cushiony. The skincare is amazing! Great 200 gram jar. This is a soap maker you'll want in your den!

Took a day or 2 off because it felt right. Head shave was badly overdue.

Prep: warm wash with Stirling bath bar
Lather: Uberlather of Old Spice cream and IanS Soap (etsy)
    Brush: Omega 10006
    Razor: Gillette New SC
    Blade: Astra SP (1)
Post: cold rinse, styptic pencil and Ogallala Bay Rum

2 passes and got myself behind my right ear on the second pass. Took awhile to stop the blood loss, but I don't feel too weak.

Guys, wish me good luck. I bought a new Micro-Touch DE today at a pharmacy today. It comes with 12 Dorco blades and a support stand, and I plan to use it tomorrow morning. It looks something like my Super Speed. Who knows - this might turn out to be a great shaving item.
