I've had he urge to go to the store and pick up a bottle of Old Spice aftershave. I don't want to. I'm not a fan. But it's been calling my name... INTERVENTION NEEDED
INTERVENTION NEEDED ... What's the problem? I see no problem here. You could order some from India and it would be a more original scent and take longer to arrive.
I was surprised at how good Old Spice smells and my wife was really surprised when she asked what that nice aftershave scent was. Go for it.
I use that whistle for the ringtone/text notification sound for my uncle, who I have got back into DE shaving.
ENABLERS!! I bought some when I went to the store. I came home and promptly applied it... WITHOUT SHAVING FIRST. Not bad. Smells better on me than in the bottle, I think. Also, this is probably my first bottle in 35 years. The last one being a stocking stuffer sample bottle when I was a kid.
I buy one every 5-10 years or so. I have a glass bottled one that I use about once a week. I have a plastic bottled one that I use almost every day. You can handle the Old Spice.
If you find an '80s vintage Avon called Brisk Spice, it's an exact clone for original OS. Their earlier '60s era Spicy is very close, too. Both can be found at junk shops and fleas for peanuts. The only modern OS I liked was Smooth Blast, but I haven't seen it in a few years.
I used it this morning after my shave. Good stuff, if not the original. It feels good on my skin, not unlike Stetson Cooling Moisture or Aqua Velva Musk. While not related, these 3 aftershaves are of the same stripe, in my mind. The Old Spice dries down to a much more subtle scent though. Or at least seems to.
I must be strange, all this talk about Old Spice has caused me to have a desire for Brut - Weird huh?
