How to help heal neckline scars from months of razor burn?

    Greetings, guys.

I stopped using an electric shaver 6 months ago when I moved to a country in Asia where electric shaver parts are difficult to find.

For the last 6 months, I've been using disposable razors ( :signs089: ) and my neckline is looking really red and spotty from all those months of nicks and cuts. I've now switched back to an electric temporarily, and I'm hoping to find a way to heal all this redness and go back to the nice smooth skin I had before.

Any suggestions? I've heard Aloe Vera might be good.

Welcome to TSD! I switched to DE shaving for the reasons you state. It is much more gentle on my face.

Im not sure if shaving supplies are easy to come by where you are? Switching over to wet shaving and a DE, SE razors have made a huge difference in my life.

Unrefined Shea Butter, Aloe jell and Argan Oil are great for repairing skin, but you will have to stop what caused the problem in the first place to see a difference.

Welcome! I get welts and irritation on my neck occasionally and my best advice is to let them be. They will only go away on their own. Various creams and treatments can help them if they're flaring up, but otherwise keeping the area dry and free of product and shaving will eventually get rid of it.

Because of sensitive skin I normally shave every three to four days to let my neck heal. Aloe does help. Try to get a natural kind with no alcohol to lessen the burn.
