I used the new Filly 14 DT - It was not up to snuff on the first try, second try after honing was much better but not perfect. I used the crox on a hard wool pad and 40 linen with 60 leather and it came alive for an incredible shave

I love all these baby-blue Fillies that are appearing! I've never had the pleasure of using a filarmónica razor, but someday, who knows what may cross my path?…..

Speaking of razors crossing my path, I was finally able to do a 'straight razor' inventory and actually establish a 'restoration queue' in order for me to not be completely overwhelmed by the amount of work I've managed to allow to pile up on my work bench. Having wrist surgery laid me up for nearly of month and prevented any restorations from happening, but somehow , more razors continued to pile in.
So now I've an actual 'work' list, prioritized by the extent of restore work required. Hopefully this list will enable me to be more efficient and productive. There are currently 57 razors on the list , but what is funny is realizing my tendency to snag certain models. Wish me luck in tackling the mountain!

Hopefully I'll have 3-4 completed by the end of this week!

Thanks Lou, It's a beautiful blade I've owned the razor for quite sometime I traded a NOS Heljestrand Duke for the razor which was also NOS, I know who had the best deal I'm not saying but it's the guy with the razor with the coral colour scales.

 

Wow, I like that closeup. I never noticed the bridge on the blade front.
