The first pass kinda sucked so end up taking it to a pasted strop and then leather between passes and ended up with a nice shave. This knot is a terrible shedder thus far but I'll continue to comb it out until I no longer like it or it runs out of hair and then reknot it. Very nice feeling knot on my face, however. Have a good one.

J A Henckels Inox 21.5 mm - I have several of these and I don't think anything shaves any better than these. This one curves upward towards the tang at the rear and I really like that. It hones easily only needing a few swipes each time. I would love to have a 7 day set like this one. Just a beautiful NOS razor

Filly 8/8 & Revisor 8/8 - I used one on one side and the other on the other side. My intention was to experiment with the Apache Strata. I had shaved with each 4 times and then went back to the Strata to see if I could improve the edge and it did. The strata rocks beyond belief
Soap - SoapCcommander Passion - my first try with a soap commander soap and it was wonderful. Every bit as good as MDC, le Pere Lucien etc. Cant wit to buy other flavors
Balm - Soap Commander "Love" - really like it too

    6/8 Friodur
TOBS Sandalwood Soap, changed my mind at the last moment
    rehandled SOC 2 band knot
Very nice shave this morning. This SOC 2 band fits my expectations of what a nice badger knot is, o.k., I won't bring it up again but I really like it and picked it up 1/2 price. My other favorite is a Shavemac pure. I've spent alot more money on knots but these are doing it for me, at least for now. Throw in a good boar and I'm happy. Have a good one.

Nice shave today but I can't help thinking the SOC needs some work. It's pretty moppy for my liking. Eventually, I'll get around to it. Have a good one.

LaToja splash with Soap Commander "Love" balm - did not notice the menthol yesterday but did today. The balm works great but don't care for menthol

This mornings shave was Thiers Issard 5/8 Sparticus, tabac shave soap, and the new addition to my collection, Thäter 2 band silvertip, followed by Alum block and lilac vegetal.
Thiers Issard starting to tug a bit, þhink it needs a touch up!!

Nice shave this morning. Have a good one. IMO, this razor looks a little goofy (blade) but is a fine shaver.

    5/8 Pyramid 7 (Geneva Cutlery)
    Dolomiti
    homemade boar
Well, R.I.P., my camera died. Nice shave, though. The Pyramid 7 is a very plain Jane razor but have always been good shavers, at one time I had quite a collection of them but ended up selling most of them off. I've never felt good about selling any of my razors but how many goes a guy need? Have a good one. I'll be shopping for a new camera soon. I probably had more dead coyote pictures than I did of razors. My 17 Rem was great coyote medicine along with my 204 Contender pistol.

Steve, I had that same Semo brush and it splayed regularly….Even 'tubing it' post-shave to help control it and reduce the 'moppishness' only helped marginally.

    My C-Mon Cheek-Gouger…..no blood drawn this time….:)
