That's really cool but a bit pricey to just try out.
I do like that it's local, to me, though.
If you ever do decide to give it a go do post your findings - heck, include it in a SOTD photo ;)

I knew my buds at the Shave Den would appreciate the label... ;)

I don't mind the cost if it is good stuff, but it is only 84 proof

Tried Sam Adams Boston Lager for the first time. Really nice flavor up front but a hops bite on the back end that keeps getting hoppier. Bleh.

Sam Adams is usually a really solid brewery. It's often a pretty sure bet at the bar as I even like many of their seasonals.

I'll have to try something else from them, then. Any recommendations that are easy on the hops?

I just cannot get into Sam Adams beers. For me there are so many better ones out there

I won't drink their beer for political reasons... and that goes for Heineken and Guinness as well.... for the same reason.

You might be out of luck as far as S.A. beers goes as their Boston Lager is probably by far one of their most popular beer ;)
This list shows a ranking of their beers by votes; http://www.ranker.com/list/best-sam-adams-beers/bottoms-up

Oh there's a bunch of better beers out there but when you're in a situation where you have to choose between Sam Adams, Budweiser and Heineken then, to me, S.A. is an easy pick :)

Try an ale, or an Extra Special Bitter (which isn't very bitter at all).

Smuttynose Baltic Porter. Really rich with a coffee bean finish.

Erik Redd Lizabeth, baby, I'm comin' to join ya.

They have a seasonal brew, Cold Snap, that's on tap at quite a few places now. It's a wheat beer with spices that's pretty good. A bit heavy on the coriander, but I like it.

The Shiner 106 is a nice chocolate stout
