I had plenty of time and decided to straighten up the shave den. I wished I had taken some pictures of the razor rack I made. No picture of razor rack was a major oversight, however as long as you measure the adjustable razor for slot size you are well on your way. Fortunately my wood working was a bit sloppy and the Fatboy found a home. My observations is : I have to much soap and to much cologne as I like just a good aftershave that will last the day, and a few colognes. And I need a blade holding device to hold 300 to 400 blades, the rest can wait in a drawer some where.
Looks nicer for sure. Quick question...bottom shelf - silver case in front of the stand and brush holder- is that a Gillette Tuckaway?
Belated answer, yes that is my precious. Sorry for the delay train not only ran off the tracks the tracks disappeared. I am up and running again. I got an idea at a department store. I will get some pics up. I stink at starting threads. I wished I had titled this "show your den improvements" they may have been one already for all I know. I usually run like a boat with to much trim, you know, not enough boat in the water. It would be nice to see ideas for keeping years of ADS organized. thanks for all the nice comments, it sure works better, all but having to move the blades out. they are still a mess in the drawer.
Nice looking den you have there. I use wooden cigar boxes to hold all my blades. They look nice, hold a ton of blades and work well. They also come in a few different shapes and sizes. I get mine from a smoke shop in my area for around $2 a piece.
