My Den Update

Finally got around to picking up my antique medicine chest and got it mounted up! Looking for a new frame for my awesome Gillette ad poster.
Everything came together really nicely and the wife is pleased with the look and organization so it looks like a win-win all around!

That's NOT funny! Lol. I was thinking that when I bought it. Only got into this less than 2 months ago and it's almost filled already! Oh well, I was given fair warning by the addicted ones here when I posted my first " spare " razor! That was seven razors ago. Maybe I should separate them, I think they are reproducing when I'm not looking

 

That is very cool. By the way how bout them Cubbies? We are actually half way through April and we haven't been mathematically eliminated from the playoffs yet. This might be the year, said every Cub fan since 1909.

Don't want to get my hopes up too early but they do have some good young talent this year!

 

I agree. I've been hooked ever since we got cable back in 1978 and I could watch the games on WGN. At the very least we should be very competitive.

 

Very nice cabinet. As to filling it, think of this cabinet as your main daily use cabinet and then just get a bigger cabinet for all the extra stuff you will eventually acquire.

Thanks all! Another awesome find by my eagle eyed wife! She has a heck of an eye for cool old stuff and spotted it in a corner of a crowded antique store filled with all kinds of junk. I walked right by it and didn't see it. In my defense, I know in the back of this shop there is a bunch of shaving stuff and I rushed in to see if there was anything new.
Still want to find a nice frame for my Gillette poster and set up the cabinet to display all my shaving paraphernalia nicely.

Edit: Maybe we could get a sticky or a separate thread link for people to post their setups? I would love to have one spot to come to for ideas and admire people's ingenuity!
