A new, still to be produced DE razor design - the Inscape.

This is a great video that shows off the razor and how it shaves:

    So, a yay or nay?

Looks interesting but green is misnomer, wouldn't a metal razor last longer and can still be recycled? I prefer heavy razors but it is good see more DE razors coming out.

I watched the video. Excellent, this looks a lot better than the Gillette Fusion Proglide flexball razors. I wouldn't mind investing in one of these.

    I didn't see a green one.

It's interesting, but I think it's going to be tough sell.
There are several plastic razors available,

I've got a couple of these, and they work quite well for me.
I use them mostly when I travel, and I don't want to risk leaving/losing a more expensive razor.
I don't see that the Insight is terribly different. But, who knows?
Maybe the longer, non traditional handle and snap on top cap will be a really strong selling point.
I wouldn't be adverse to trying one, but I don't think I would buy one or invest.

I believe this was a kickstarter initiative that didn't get the requested funding and is now looking for alternative ways to launch.
I agree that it's a tough sell taking the competition into consideration.

Yes it was on Kickstarter, I looked it up, I don't see why it didn't take off. I wish I would have seen it when they first started. It sounds like a great idea. If Gillette can sell the Fusion Proglide with Flexball for almost $20 bucks and 8 replacement blades for almost $50 bucks This guy could make a killing. Too bad it didn't take off. How did you find it?

I saw this on kickstarter and backed it, want to say 15 bucks to get 1 razor. Was thinking to use as a travel razor. Too bad they didn't meet funding, and unlike the Rockwell, they didn't get a major player (Mantic59 reviewed the Rockwell) to give it exposure during funding phase, I found it by searching razors on Kickstarter search. I bought a Yuma for travel for now.

There are so many cheap metal razors out there that i don't see a real need for a plastic de razor.

Same principal as a styptic pencil. I tried alum but it made me break out due over drying my skin. Anyways this topic is getting off track. And as the guilty party I say we get it back on track.
