    Dove Men Face Wash
    TOBS Grapefruit
    Jayaruh WC4 HMB
    Schick M2 Adjustable
    Personna Stainless
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayers Lemon WH
    Aqua Velva

The TOBS Grapefruit Shave Cream face-lathered well with my Jayaruh WC4 High Mountain Badger Brush. Two passes with my Schick M2 Adjustable razor and a Personna Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Aqua Velva after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Razor: Muhle R41 head on MR1 handle
    Blade: Rapira Platinum Lux (3)
    Soap: Ginger's Garden Havana Cognac
    Bowl: VDH
    Brush: Tweezerman badger
    Post: Gentleman Jon Alum block

Preshave was just face wash with warm water and post shave was rinse with warm water then some cold water splashes and pat dry! I then applied the Alum block.

Razor: First time using the R41 head and thought is shaved fine.

Blade: I like this blade alot and continue to use it in my rotation with my Astra SP which might be in second place now!

Soap: I used this soap one before and it seems to work good. It lathers easy and seems to have good protection. I would use it again!

Comments: Shave was good, I did manage to get a DFS. One weeper and some slight irritation based on the Alum block's feedback on the jawline area on one side. For me the razor can be aggressive as some say but I wouldn't be afraid to use it. Just have to be careful. It worked fine as I didn't have to do any extra passes or cleanup but my pressure must have been a little off hence the weeper and slight irritation!

Please feel free to leave comments on any items used as I enjoy reading them to see what others say about the gear I am using/trying out!

    Thx.

    Brush - VDH Boar
    Soap - Arko
    Razor - 1959 Superspeed
    Blade - [IMG] (3)
Post - Alum, Aqua Velva Ice Blue

With apologies to taskmaster @wristwatchb today was a very early start for the monthly spiff meeting. So, rather than try the CJB asleep I went with a two pass on the SS and Bic blade. Very nice DFS. I'm glad I tried the Bic and will keep a few around from now on. Finished with a very quiet alum and put on the Ice Blue to start the day. Tomorrow it's back to the CJB with a new blade....unguarded this time. Hope for the best and prepare for the worst. It's a very late night now so off to bed in a bit to recover from a busy Saturday.

    Merkur 39c focus
    pre: hot towel over lather
    brush: Semogue 1800
    soap: Proraso Red shaving cream
    razor: Merkur 39c
    blade: Gillette Platinum White
    post: Brion AS

3 passed to BBS land, Platinum White blades are the sharpest mild blades I have in my collection and they're available locally which is a big plus. Proraso Red should be in anyone's software collection. Period!
Brion AS is yet another Pitralon clone, with great performance albeit high alcohol content and it smells of chamomile, just like the Johnson's baby shampoo.

This morning's shave confirmed once and for all that I'm a Stirling Glacial lover - the Lemon Chill gave me tons of rich, slick lemony-scented lather with its incredible menthol effect and such moisturizing, soothing skincare. A couple of splashes of the Glacial Wintergreen witch hazel and I felt frozen-solid. I can't wait for my new stuff to get here! :) :bounce015:

    Superb Sunday
Diamond provided optimal lather, whipped up by my HIS lather monster. My whiskers were so comfortable and happy with the evolving scent that they could not have expected der vorschlaghammer's assault. Cologne Russe finished it off right.

    Prep: Bulldog face wash
    Soap: B&M Diamond
    Brush: HIS XL
    Razor: der vorschlaghammer
    Blade: voskhod
    AS: B&M Cologne Russe

I have some of the Lemon Chill and have not opened it yet. I will be going back to using my Stirling Soaps in a week or so. When I start my second 30 Day rule with my other ATT H-1 or M-1 Base Plate. Haven't figured which handle to use. I will probably switch the Kronos handle to one of the 2 base plates. I reallyy don't like the Atlas Handle it seems too short, for me.(with hands going numb all the time) :angry019:. I like the longer handle so I can grip it better.

Here are the soaps I ordered from Rod this past Thursday:

    1) Glacial Lemon Chill
    2) Glacial Obsidian
    3) Glacial Wintergreen
    4) Glacial Spearmint
    5) Black Ice
    6) Barbershop
    7) Frozen Tundra

I never tried the Barbershop and Frozen Tundra before so I wanted to buy them, and also as time goes by I want to try some of Rod's other non-mentholated soaps.
