This has been a go-to post-shave, store-bought balm for me. I prefer my own homemade mixes, but in a pinch, the Pre de Provence shea butter balm does the job.
Is this the L'occitane. I have a tube of the Cade as balm and the shave cream. They are two of the best products I have ever used. Pricey for sure, but talk about quality. I was pif'd the balm. If your willing / able to spend a little extra, the reward is a cracking balm.
Gillette Series Intense Cooling balm is also terrific. It smells very nice and gives plenty of cooling.
Body Shop Arber aftershave balm is my preferred balm. I prefer it over the drug store ones mentioned above.
If your face is a bit sore then use Nivea sensitive. If you want to smell nice use the normal Nivea balm. Both feel great on your face.
For me I prefer natural ingredients...so I generally use coconut oil...and I recently discovered organic unrefined Shea butter...and it is amazing!
I use CeraVe lotion after every shave. It seems to calm skin irritation and moisturizes my face. I'm prone to having red blotches on my face (rosacea) and this lotion helps. It is unscented, no menthol, light, and does not feel greasy. Highly recommended, especially for sensitive skin.
been using that for the last week (exec. man)....not bad at all but i almost like it as a daily face lotion as well...really like the dove AS balm for local store buys
Big fan of Zartgefuhl balm which is a white creamy balm that you use about a pea sized dollop then rub between the hands to emulsify then apply to the face. Very soothing and takes the edge off your skin if you are somewhat sensitive. $24 for roughly 100 ml.
