I've been looking for a modern Trac II handle that was thick, had some weight to it and wads reasonably priced; found the Country Uncle handle at Amazing Shaving. I really like this handle, it feels good, holds the cartridge snuggly, has very good flush-through so it doesn't clog, puts the cartridge at a good angle and even though it's chromed and appears slick it doesn't seem to slip in my grip. I recommend it to anyone else looking for a well made modern Trac II at a very reasonable price.
They have trac ii ( I believe they are called gillette 7 o'clock on the package) on the bay that are all metal doe 10 bucks shipped. They are gillette handles. I have one on the way. I'll let you know if if is compatible.
