My battery in my calibers is dead so cannot verify but it is smaller. Either 22-23mm. I wrapped it with plumbers tape at the bottom sealed the tape with superglue and then cemented in the handle. Don't know if you still have your Plisson, but I prefer this one. Has more backbone to it and soft tips. For $15 it is a steal. Bitch to take the knot out though.

    Fougere Friday
Excellent shave with B&M today. The HIS made thick lather setting up my stubble for the Futur to smoothly do its job. This was the first time one side of the razor felt different than the other. Maybe this blade is wearing at different rates. I finished with the matching aftershave from B&M for a great start to the day.
    Prep: WSP Matterhorn PSO
    Soap: B&M Fougère Imperial
    Brush: HIS
    Razor: Der Futur
    Blade: Gillette 7 o'clock yellow (2)
    AS: B&M Fougère Classique Tonique

Even though I haven't used the brush or the soap much (yet), I'm a fan of both other than the name of the soap "Love". My head is just not into love at 5:30 A.M. I'm in more like Attila the Hun frame of mind at that time of the day. Very nice shaves the last couple of days. Have a good one.

    today's shave
hot water wash with nuetrogena men's invigorating face wash and a washcloth
Rubberset 400/ whipped dog high mountain
    Proraso red
Matador open comb/ maggard mr5 handle
    rapira(2)
    spice
today's shave was very nice. Proraso red really does have an earthy smell, same Italian soap quality as the others. three passes with the Matador. the maggard handle may have even improved my already favorable opinion of the Matador. I'm super smooth and comfy. finished with discount store spice. I thought it smelled similar to the red. the two blended nicely.
hope y'all did as well, or better.

if you think the love name is off for the mood. try using the "love balm". that name would make Barry white proud.

No complaints at all about today's shave - it was BBS, easy, as well as very cooling and soothing from the Gillette Menthol cream, Lucky Tiger a/s cream, and the Aqua Velva!

    30 day focus - Day 9
    Fat Boy set to 7
    Dorco Blade
    MDC
    3 passes

This was only the third time I have used a Dorco blade. It was very smooth and cut cleanly without any issues. This could be a BBS, but I won't know until I feel it late tonight.
