Copied from secret santa thread: I must have been a good lad this year as Santa dropped off some Wonderful Ginger Garden products that I had on my list: Brown Winsor and Havana Cognac in Tallow and matching Aftershave Splash.
I got in trouble by my 7yo granddaughter when I told her Santa had sent me these items for Christmas, she grabbed the items put them in a box then took it upon hearken to find the Christmas wrap and wrap it up. Last time I saw the package was 7:40 last night. She a tough little cookie, a chip off the old block!
Will do, she even took the two Elite Razor handles I bought for myself for Christmas and wrapped those up too. "Cant have them until Christmas. I have to wait so you have to wait" is what she told me. LOL
Package arrive from my Secret Santa: a bottle of "...the Original Burn & Quench" aftershave, Fine's 'Snake Bite' plus a sharpening stone holder—something I truly needed. How do you know when you have too many sharpening stones? When you're in need of more than one holder! Thanks, Secret Santa! This is terrific!
Isn't that the truth, as to your comment about sharpening stones. You can't ever have enough extension cords also.
My secret Santa did his homework... Arko!!, TSN Mango soap, Triton R3 blades, Iridium blades, Stanwell pipe cleaners and 2 (2oz) packages of pipe tobacco! Pretty much all of my TSD thread haunts represented. Thank you!!
Thanks Mike-My buds call this having "Bob Moment"! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all. Looking good so far....................
Oh my, Secret Santa went way beyond what I ever expected. From start of the shave to finish: Somersets Maximum Glide pre-shave oil Beautiful hand-thrown mug, the style happens to match other pottery in the house Van der Hagen luxury soap Keeping it real, both an Old Spice mug and Williams soap (Now that whistle is stuck in my head!) TOBS creams: Mr Taylor', Avocado, St Jams, Grapefruit, Lemon & lime GFT creams: Eucris, Rose, Almond, Sandalwood, and Spanish Leather (gonna wear my Zorro mask) Blades: Voskhod, Wilkinson, Lord, Gillette 7'0 clock (We call it 4:30 cuz' the dogs wake us) And something to put them in: Super Speed from the 40's, a sweet ride 1962 Slim Adjustable - it's too much - I was looking for a slim! Finish up with a Fine AS: Platinum, Snake Bite, L'OrangeNoir (the black orange? way cool) Dispose of the Razor: a blade bank! And somewhere to store it all - the cigar boxes are also nifty. I brew and enjoy beer, the cigar/beer box nailed it. I am truly overwhelmed. Thank you so much.
WOW! Thank you so much, Secret Santa!!! I've never tried the Gondolier soap before and my wife loves the smell of it. So glad to have a new tub of CaD too! And y'all know I love me some P.160...that stuff is good enough to EAT!!!
Pics to follow.... My Secret Santa gift came in today. I was literally blown away. My Secret Santa gave me a 100 pack of Personna Lab blades, a Vie Long Horsehair Brush, and something I definitely wasn't expecting... a Super Speed dated E-3. I believe that is a 1959 date code. I don't remember, but my Secret Santa remembered me saying that I had never tried one from that decade. I might shave off of my beard just because I have all this nice new stuff. Thank you Secret Santa, whoever you are!
