    Prep: Warm Shower-Stirling Bath Soap-Gatlinburg
    Soap: Martin de Candre Fougere
    Razor: Gillette NEW Short Comb
    Blade: Personna Med Prep (1)
    Brush: Thater Silvertip-26mmx55mm
Aftershave: Burberry Brit AS Balm & EdT

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

MdC today. 20 seconds to load the Thater Silvertip. Easy, thick, slick, lather. I loaded a new Personna Med Prep in the NEW SC. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Burberry Brit.

    Thursday:
hot shower w/ Castelbel Sandalwood Amber bar soap
    Maggard Grapefruit PSO
    Schick gold L1 2+ passes
    Schick (?)
St James of London Sandalwood & Bergamot cream in a bowl
    Waterford Crystal badger
    Thayers unscented w/aloe
    Paul Sebastian A/S balm

Somehow I lost track of how many shaves are on this particular blade but I'm thinking it's about time to replace it as today's shave felt a little less than smooth. Also, I purchased a St James sampler recently and today was my first time trying some of it. It was certainly adequate for the task but I'm not so sure it lives up to it's price tag.

Amazing picture as always. I myself just picked up a I•XL, unfortunately I did not notice it has a hairline crack nearly dead center of the blade. It was cheap enough, so it will be a nice decorative piece.

    Schick J1 razor
    Personna blade
    Plisson/L'Occitane brush
    Lea Menthol SC
    Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe
    Skin Bracer A/S w/added menthol

A nice face freezing Thanksgiving Day shave. Am adjusting my technique to compensate for the difference in my water now that I'm on well water. And I have to admit that I really like the Plisson/L'Occitane brush, it does everything well for me except give me warm lather when I want that. Otherwise, it's great. Now go enjoy your day folks

    THANKSGIVING DAY SHAVE
hot water wash with nuetrogena men's invigorating face wash and a washcloth
    whipped dog silvertip deep set
    Route 66 A Perfect Gent
    Merkur Futur(3.5)
    Astra sp(2)
    Pinaud Lime SEC
today's shave was very good. a little more time to relax and reflect. lather was as nice as it gets, applied with the trusty dog. three passes with the futur,I think it may be growing. but it gave a very close comfy shave. I finished the gent with sec, nice combo.
hope y'all did as well, or better.
further I hope your holiday is filled with love and joy.

    Thanksgiving Shave

    Razor-Schick E2 injector
    Blade-GEM Stainless Steel
    Brush-Whipped Dog Butterscotch Silvertip
    Soap-RazoRock Don Marco

First try with the E2. I've used a G8 and a Schick Adjustable and this razor is definitely more aggressive. I guess I'm just not used to the angle of these injectors. Very, very close shave, but my face is just a bit sore.

    Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!! The turkey's in the oven and all's well on that front. Just myself and SWMBO today which is how we like it. No big families to deal with and much less drama that way! Hope your day is great whether you eat at a restaurant counter or have the entire clan over for the day. I'm always thankful for the TSD gang and I'll just say a special thanks today for everyone here who keeps this community growing and thriving. And now, on to the shave.

Day 7 on the blade and it's still performing without a problem. I'm probably not going to change out as I'm thinking of bailing early on the month and starting something new on Sunday. If I don't, then it will be a good test of how much the Feather Pro can take. I also have a Feather Super Pro I may switch to for a few days. Still not definite on my plans. BoSFat was great today and the shave was a very smooth two pass with some touchups. The only issue was a minor nick across the same area on my jaw/chin as the past two days. It's getting better though. Nice DFS for the holiday and I even added some Proraso aftershave at the end.

Enjoy your dinner today! The guys from the cartel are supposed to be here later. I don't know, though, they texted a picture telling me they were busy. Looks like they may be late.

    Slim Adjustable set to 9

L'Occitane Cade is one of my favorites. It is lighter than MDC, but very high on slickness.

    SOTD : Thanksgiving day

Thankful for my humble beginning in traditional shaving. Basic VDH set bowl, brush and soap. My first DE razor, 1967 (M-3) Gillette Tech. As most my first blade was a Derby. Fitting blade from Turkey on this turkey day. Have a Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

    Razor: Merkur 34C
    Blade: Personna SS (5)
Brush: WDC-2 (Grandfather's) High Mountain Badger Wood Handle (Whipped Dog) 22/65
    Soap: Route 66 Bourbon Jungle
    A/S: Captain's Choice Bay Rum

Three pass shave tonight, which would qualify for a BBS. The Route 66 Bourbon Jungle is an amazing shop. Very easy to build into a great slick, smooth rich lather. Great smell also.
The Captain's Choice Bay Rum was the right choice for the A/S tonight.
Hope everyone is having a good Thanksgiving. Don't eat to much.:)
