    4/8 J.Rodgers & Sons
    Green Mountain
    homemade/unknown synthetic knot

    I was messing with a bunch of synthetic knots when I injured my head, I have no clue what knot this is and I can't remember. The J.R. is without a doubt my best shaving small razor and has ivory scales to boot, another razor that should see more usage. Have a good one.

    New puck of proraso red in mug
    Birdseye maple 24mm brush silvertip badger knot
    Goldedge SR honed on 12k super stone 20x

    Clubman original

    Love my new stones. Think I'm going to be able to put an edge on some of the other SR s that I have socked away.
    2 days growth and success. Nice BBS shave to start my work week

    6/8 DD
    Cade
    homemade synthetic/knot unknown

    I think I remember which knot this is because I tried to give it as much legs (loft) as I could. I find this knot to feel a bit like a very soft tennis ball and this o.k. to a point but IMO, it needs to break and open on the face. It's a little reluctant to give it up but we'll see if a little abuse will take care of it. Very close shave this morning but not the most comfortable. Have a good one.

    today I used;
    Wade& Butcher 5/8 full hollow. it's marked Sheffield, so I reckon it's an old guy. it's thick along the back for sure.
    it did nicely for the passes, but I got greedy for an A+ shave, so I did a pass with yesterday's fatboy.I needed a bit of help on my right side neck and just a little on the point of my chin.
    end result, great shave.
