    Sandalwood Saturday
Reef Point makes a great soap, and this sandalwood is warm and cozy. The lather is thick and rich, and set up my stubble for its fate. Der Futur administered this fate with a cool, smooth efficiency, paired with a Personna Lab Blue blade and dialed down to five. I finished up with Krampert's Finest Acadian Spice Bay Rum, my favorite bay rum because of the excellent skincare and scent.

Great shave! The Black Pearl is dynamite! Soft floral, spice and vetiver. I'm having great shaves with the iKon 103, this is by far my favorite iKon razor.

    Schick Saturday
    Schick B2 Repeater /Schick (8)
    Col Conk Bay Rum
Vintage Rubberset Pure Badger Hair Original Knot
    Every Man Jack Face Lotion
    Gillette Cool Wave Splash
A very good shave this morning. The Conk Bay Rum is a good performing soap with excellent slickness and a mild Bay Rum Scent. The Chick blade is starting to dull and I had to concentrate on angle as this is only my 8th shave with this razor and I have not used it for a while. The shave ended up BBS and AGAIG. Have a blessed day Gentlemen.

    Prep: Hot shower
    Blade: Personna lab blue (1)
    Razor: Vintage Gillette travel 3-piece
    Brush: Trader Joe's synthetic
    Lather: TSD soap stick unscented
    Post: Nivea sensitive balm
    WTG, touch-up

Traveling on a short weekend trip. I'm using the TSD soap stick again today. It's perfect for traveling. Went for a little more water on my face and on the soap as I rubbed it around. It was a little too dry yesterday and still a hair dry today. More experimenting needed! The new-to-me vintage Gillette travel razor is a great size for travel and quite convenient. The short handle may take a little time to get used to, but overall was fine. A couple of bucks on my chin, chalked up to first time use with that razor. The Personna blade performed well as usual.

Hope you all have a great Saturday!

    SATURDAY
Evening shave late Friday night, but posting it this morning. Another vintage Swiss-made frameback, this time from Jaques LeCoultre (circa 1830-1919).
In excellent condition, this old heavy frame back razor provides a very smooth, comfortable shave.
    Have a great Saturday, all!

You need to go to the Feather pro or pro super for a closer shave. Those guard blades are a tad mild IMO.
