The Official Secret Santa Thread 2015 edition is up and running, so if you've signed up for it, how about dropping some hints here to make it a little easier on your Secret Santa.

A thought from one of the participants: you might consider to list allergies and belief preferences like "vegan", "no tallow", or "no boar". :)

This thread isn't just for the Secret Santa participants, it's open to all the TSD members to post their Holiday Wish List!

For our members that observe Hanukkah, feel free to list a gift for all 8 days.

    Hmmm... might be easier to add a bit about what I don't like too ;

I'm a fan of traditional British and Italian creams.
Not a fan of soaps, especially artisan and the "it" soap of the month.
    I like boar brushes.
    I like aftershaves.
I like earthy scents, sandalwoods, patchouli, amber, etc.
Not a fan of vintage hardware, although a nice Gillette TTO, adjustable, etc. that was like new would be used and appreciated.
Witch Hazel tends to react badly with me.

Things I have plenty of already:
    Proraso and TOBS creams
    Pinaud and Old Spice splashes

    HOWEVER....

Any thought out gift is always appreciated and loved.

Any gift would be wonderful. There are so many things I have not tried as a noob.

How about something - you - prefer? It would be something - I - would not even think about.

    • I have never used pre- or post-shave skin care products.
    • TSD has so many soap scents, it's like trying to make a decision at Yankee Candle. A soap or cream you like would be new to me.
    • Practical things like soap puck storage boxes, a blade safe, different blades, a razor stand.
    • If you want to get crazy, an elaborate old shaving scuttle, the more baroque the better.
    • A slant razor or any vintage Gillette

(Please pardon one exclusion. No boar bristle. It's a belief preference.)

Oh, and a new TV series by Joss Whedon.
