I want to give back a little this great and best Shaving Forum. Over the past nearly two years, everyone has been very friendly, encouraging, and generous. I want to join in the March PIF Madness, with my own PIF. I am an avid Bird Watcher, this time of year birds have began migrating. My PIF is for a Gillette Knack, with a pack of Shark and Voshkod blades. This is open to all members. Below are three questions about bird migration, you must answer all three correctly to be a winner. Please pm me with your answers, do not post answers please. The first person to correctly answer all three will be the winner. Each question has sub questions within that will need to be correctly answered too. Have fun!! 1. What bird has made the the longest non-stop flight ever measured, from where to where, how many miles was it? 2. This past winter there was interruption of what species to the lower 48 states and what was the furthermost state it was recorded in? 3. What bird makes the longest migration, how many miles is it, in its lifetime it will travel the equivalent of many round trips to where?
The female shore bird flew 7145 miles from Alaska to New Zealand. Snowy owls were spotted in Oklahoma. The artic tern flies from Antarctica to Africa to South America to the Arctic. About 1.5 million miles in its lifetime, 3 round trip from here to the moon.
Yeah, realized that after I saved it. Made correction to my post. Hope it's not too late...fingers crossed!!!
Great PIF, Brad! (BossmanBill, you might want to read Brad's text again: ) Oh, well... Don't count me in, Brad! I wouldn't have found the snowy owl, I guess.
Duh!!! Shouldn't have taken that damn speed reader course!!! Totally skipped that step. Live and learn, huh?!?
BossManBill is the WINNER, congrats. The answer that was missing was in question one a Bartail Godwit.
