I was bowl lathering C O Bigelow with a Stirling Boar Brush for my girlfriend, and I really pushed how much you could make and I ended up with a ton for just a little bit of cream out of the tube. It looked fantastic in the bowl, like really textbook A+. However, the second she lathered it on herself, it went on really thin and unprotective. So the lesson there is to make it a little more thick in the bowl so it goes on just right onto your wet skin, and so that you maintain a proper water-to-product ratio without going overboard in pushing how much volume you can actually make. It's the old "use more product" issue. Learned a valuable lesson.
