*DONE* A soap PIF!

I'll get a pic later but this is for a tiny razobrite ceramic soap bowl (fair warning. I have the Stirling small synthetic brush and you can't really splay it out) with a sample of Stirling mountain man soap pressed in it. I've used it but you can't really tell. To be in, post a shave with the very first injector/SE you ever got (that works properly) and if you hadn't got a SE, then your very first DE. now I understand den cleaning, so if you hadn't got your original, then the razor you've had longest. And I'm only going to be able to go CONUS unless you have a U.S. BRO. I'm sorry all y'all outside the U.S. I'll leave it open until there have been no more entries for 24 hours. That sounds cool. Count me in. This is a shave from July 2013. It is my Dad's Schick E3 that he replaced the handle on. It is a pretty aggressive razor. It is not my first injector, it is long gone, but it is the oldest that I have had the longest.

 

My first SE type razor was a Rolls razor. Its not quite sharp enough to shave with now so I guess the first working SE razor I got was a Schick type G1. I would shave with it but I am 2 blades away from ending my CJB blade focus. My first shave with this razor was using Speick cream a Semogue Boar Brush, a Schick Blade and Nivea Sensitive balm and/or Clubman Original. I remember having a 3 pass BBS on the first try.

If my account of my first shave counts then I'm in.

I'm in! I haven't tried Stirling soaps. This is a tallow based soap? My favorite!

I'm in! Never tried Stirling but would love to. My first SE razor was a Schick G1. Terrific little razor. First used on January 30 of this year.

 

Every one so far is in! Just do a shave with it tomorrow or soon. Past shaves dont count. But I should have been more clear

Rule clarification. So you just want everyone to do a SOTD with their first (or oldest) razor, SE or injector if possible, and then post the SOTD here for entry? I just got a sample of the Mountain Man aftershave, and my wife loves it. I'd love to try the soap.

Here's my planned Friday SOTD. My first SE was actually a bullet tip from a PIF that @Luteplayers did. Too mild, so I passed it on to @pvtbanks . A fellow head shaver gifted me this Shovel Head. I didn't like it until I learned how to upgrade the handle. Now I enjoy it.

 

I don't have a Picture but my first shave was a DE Gillette Super Speed with Van Der Hagen shave soap and brush, Wilkinson Sword blade, followed up with some Nivea shave balm.

 

I'm in great pif thanks. My first SE is a brass Gem 1912 and I still use it in my rotation. I'm going to use it today with a NOS Gem Duridium stropping blade I've never used the stropping blades before today.
