The Beluga razor is a rather interesting concept: A single-edge razor that uses a double-edge blade and has a pivoting head like a cartridge razor. It is a little pricey, perhaps to be expected for a small initial run. No, I'm not trying to astroturf the thing, and have no connection whatsoever to the manufacturer. I was just curious to see what you guys thought about the product. Does it look like a whale of a razor or just a beached whale? http://www.belugashave.com/
There was a thread recently on this: http://theshaveden.com/forums/index.php?threads/Beluga-Razor-on-Kickstarter.40677/ My opinion is that shaving with an unguarded pivoting blade would be more dangerous than shaving with a harpoon's blade edge
True but after the "Wavy Weber" deal I would rather pay more money and know I am getting a better product.
Did someone say Whale? AND razor in the same sentence? To the Shave Cave, Tuna Boy !!! I kind of like the idea and look of this (without a plastic handle)
