Before I let everyone know the results of this round I want to apologize for my procrastination for posting. As some of you know I have two kids the youngest is four months and the oldest will be 2 in a few weeks. Also I work 2 jobs one in a kitchen and one from home so I am sheer exhausted usually when I am logged on. Luckily I have been able to tone down in the kitchen as late but the excess time is going to spending with my boys. I do fully intend to finish this pif and would like to reveal the 2nd razor to be given away tho it comes with a bit of a catch 22. I received a pif'd razor from oscar11 that I would like to pass on. Here comes the catch 22 The 2nd shave I preformed with this razor while rinsing the blade I tapped it against my faucet. This left a nick that gave me the honing bug. Since then This razor has been honed and shaved with 6 times. Three were very sub-par shave but the last three have been pure BBS in 2 pass of less. I am going to continue rounding the edge and building it up from scratch at least 3 times a week during the duration of the rest of the pif. If your willing to try a razor that is honed to the absolute of my ability when this pif ends it is all yours This is obviously a better idea for some one that has used a straight razor before as you will know what a professionally honed edge will feel like. If you have never used a straight before all I can say is I give you my word I will not send you a razor I would not shave with myself. The 2nd choice for this prize slot if you would not like the straight is One Gillette old I think not really sure has minimal plating loss on the head and ball end is cracked like most but still gives a great shave. The results of this round prove not every thing is lost in translation. I have been routing for him and he pulled it off and has won him self a odd and rare blade sampler. Round 5 Catagory: the best wet shaving advice I have recived Letters : TMSASEPN Round rules: submition portion of round : 2 days (OR SO) Polling portion on the round : 7 days from posting of the poll. We still have a battle between Pat in first and Tom in second only 5 points separate them. And only 10 points between Pat and both Sara and Macaronus so one good round is all it takes to take the lead. Good luck everyone!
