This is one of very few "natural" aftershaves out there that is extremely effective. I have tried at least 8-10 of them The contained menthol will put a block of ice on your skin, the alum will heal nicks, and the aloe will heal your skin. It also has an incredible moisturizing factor, and only a very small amount is needed per application.....so a jar of this will last a good, long time. ---> I use this product almost daily now, many times as a finishing layer after a balm. I like mixing this with AOS Sandalwood Aftershave Balm.

After hearing so much about this aftershave, I just had to try it out. It was not the easiest aftershave to get when I did, but now that the TSD store carries it for $10, I had to give the price a 10. No shipping from Europe + conversion helps a lot. This is an incredible aftershave. When first applied, it feels just like a normal balm but once the menthol kicks in, it is incredible. I kept hearing people say that it felt like running an ice block on your face and that really didn't tell me much. Well now I know... It really is like an ice block on your face! You just have to try it to know the feeling. It is very soothing and feels great once applied. The fact that it's 100% natural only makes it that much better. Very little is needed to cover your entire face which makes it a great bang for the buck. At the same time it left my face feeling very nice. I have fairly oily skin and using this aftershave does leave my skin a little oily throughout the day. The only thing that is a downer and cannot be rated is the smell. It has a very medicinal smell to it and unfortunately the smell sticks with you the whole day. Some might like it, others might not. I believe the smell you have a problem with is Sandalwood EO . it is pretty strong as the best Sandalwood really comes from India.
