I'm carrying a wide Victorinox Swiss army knife and i just need a knife I don't need the bells and whistles I just need a thin profile knife that can fit in my pocket

I would personally recommend the Opinel.
I like the #6 and carry it in my pocket or bag every day.

See my write-up of it here: http://theshaveden.com/forums/threads/opinel-no-6.37539/

Currently I carry a Cutco pocket knife. Sharp! Warranted for life. Thin. Works for me.

I carry a Swiss Army Pioneer Alox. It is thin, and I really like it. The Swiss Army Cadet Alox is similar, but even smaller.

CRKT K.I.S.S. is as simple a quality knife as I know.

If I do get another knife I am, I must admit, rather tempted to get the CRKT KISS Assist.
Love that spring mechanism as well

Or the Van Hoy that just looks really cool :)

My dress pants pocket knife is the Victorinox Ambassador. It is a very slim profile, and has an adequate blade size, scissors that I use frequently, and the nail file makes a dandy staple remover. The toothpick and tweezers also come in handy.

I usually carry a little more robust but not huge Wenger Swiss Army knife in casual wear.

Sure thing! Let us know what you decide on. I don't have a huge knife collection by any means, but I do like them and visit Smoky Mountain Knifeworks every chance I get. It's a huge knife retail outlet in East Tennessee.

+1 on the Opinel #6. I've had one in my pocket for a week now and really like it. It's not much larger than a lip balm tube and just as light. I don't like a lot of stuff in my pockets at all. This Opinel is very unobtrusive.

Spyderco knives carry a good reputation, almost up there with Benchmade. Nice choice.

Most Spyderco's have a slim profile. You didn't give a price range or preferred length. Heres a selection of lock types, lengths and prices. I own all of these knives and will vouch for their quality. All can easily be found on amazon as well as various knife sites. A few of my favorite Spyderco's are the:
    Chaparal,
    Dragonfly,
    Tenecious,
    Persistence,
    Ambitious,
    Native5,
    Delica4,
    Manbug and
    Ladybug.:).
