That's a good idea. I hadn't even thought about that. I just put it in the water and shook. Usually I try to stay in the first inch or so of the water

I wipe the blade on tissue. It saves on soap going down the drain and cleans the blade faster.

It was a sick feeling as I heard it clip the faucet. I did a post about it, with pics of the chunk, but my search-fu is weak tonight.

Rinser, then I apply the good smelling stuff afterwards for the ladies. 482920_425647634176489_2077620512_n.jpg

Rinse under running HOT water- with spine facing downwards.

When I started SR shaving I got in the habit of wiping on a wet sponge that I place on the right hand side of my sink.

So when you wipe, do you try and avoid the edge, or just run the whole blade on the towel? Will a regular cotton towel hurt the edge at all?

I swish around in a sink full of water. I think barbers use to wipe because it was more convenient. They use to place a towel on your shoulder and wipe the just-scraped lather on the towel. It was probably easier than running over to a sink.

I wipe the length of the blade with tissue, then rinse with water and wipe again. Then I strop the edge on a dry towel.
