I'm hearing from a friend of mine about how good the art of shaving soaps are. Is this stuff better than average, or all hype?
I think its very good soap...right up there with the three T's. Their soaps are pretty reasonably priced......watch out on the razors and brushes though. I really like them...or I should say my skin really likes them, they smell very good as well.
I wasn't all that impressed with the are of shaving creams, I had always thought their soaps were on the same level. Sounds like I have to find out for myself.
Bobby, it's a very good product, yes, but I'm allergic to it. It really acted cruel and brutal to my skin, unfortunately.
Bob, IMO the AOS soaps are wonderful. I'm partial to tallow based soaps, which these are. Try one - I doubt you'll be dissapointed. John
I use the cream and I can say this. The Sandalwood and Lavender smell DE-LISH-OUS and work real good to boot. How bout a Taylor's soap? Is AoS that much better?
I didnt notice that AOS has different scented soaps. I only noticed they do in the creams....am i missing something?
Unscented Lavender Lemon Sandalwood Just click on the bowl of soap like ya want to buy it and all of the scents show up.
Isaac's chicken protein pre-shave Just be careful- salmonella can cause wicked razor burn like symptoms :rofl (all in fun)
The AOS Sandalwood scent is a winner. One of the finest sandalwood scents out there (if not the best) I have smelled the lavender as well, you're in for a treat Bobby. As to the performance of the shave soap, I was very pleased.
