been using the astra blades for a little over a week now; seeing as how i've been de'ing just about 2 months, i dont have alot to compare them to, but they do seem mild if that makes sense; started out w/ the walmart specials 1st then acquired som derbys, then the astras arrived; with all 3 i've not had anything beyond 'oozers' to contend with; the walmarts and derbys seem slightly more aggressive while the astras seem less abrasive; the astras tone while shaving wtg sounds 'lighter' ; all 3 --> bbs results; all in all, happy w/ astras, very smooth and forgiving, just seems i like a more aggressive blade;
I'm getting great results with Astras lately, even better than I was getting with Feathers, but as I said in another thread I'm not certain if it is the blade or the fact that my technique is improving steadily. All part of the journey I guess. Pete
I am a rather big fan of the astras. The only problem with them is that I can get blades that do excellent on me for a lot less then the astras.
