What is the best brush for the money, I'm using a cheap Walmart brush that came in the van buren shave set. Looking to upgrade, what do y'all suggest?

A quality brush that's not going to break the bank. Where can I look at the this brush called the whipped dog?

If you end up choosing whipped dog with a Silvertip knot, make sure you get it deep set! Here is my 24mm x 48 mm WD Silvertip:

This is my WD Silvertip 30/45. You will not be disappointed, getting a brush from Larry at WD. Send him an email and he will build you a brush any way you want. My VDH brush holder works for this brush and the are also inexpensive image.jpg

I like the Omega 48-49. If your interested in a badger WD is hard to beat just do your homework on loft.

The Semogue 1305. And, if it is not, I will purchase the brush for your brush and shipping costs. :happy088::happy088:

Yes! For Boars, tough to beat the value on those Omegas; for badgers—the WDs that have been discussed. :happy088:

(LtoR) Omega 49 boar; Two WD silver tips 18mm & 30mm (black handles)—pay no attention to the Wee Scott, so precocious! :D

Lots of solid information here guys, so now the question is boar or badger? What's the difference? And what is LOFT?
