    I've been hunting for a birth year razor and scored a simple flair tip, fairly cheap, how many out there have their birth year in your line-up, just curious. 1964 for me.

    Goid find! I have a 1957 ball-end tech. But, I'm searching for a decent Red Tip. I've had 3 regular '57 super speeds, but didn't like them.

    I have four for 1947. First up is the Rolls. It is not in shave ready shape, but it is from 1947.

    The Gem Bullet Tip Micromatic. It was introduced in 1947. I can't really say this is a 1947 model, but I can hope.

    AFTER THE WAR (1946-1947) The post-WWII Aristocrats were identical to the pre-war models with the exception of the newly added end caps. These were available in small blue or burgundy leather (or faux leather) clamshell cases with gold-plated blade banks. This particular set was available in 1946 and 1947 and featured what many consider (and I concur) to be the most aggressive version of the Aristocrat made. The 1946-1947 Aristocrat models came with the no-notch center bar and can be identified by the smooth bands on the upper and lower portions of the handle -- although there were some variants that I will discuss shortly.

    Were there any worth searching for made in '82? I feel like too many people moved to disposables and such by then.

    Actually you have two options;

    - The Gillette Super Adjustable, and
    - The Gillette SS (black handle).

    I only have one Birth year razor Slim Adjustable (1966 L2). My birthday is in January so it should be a L1.

    Hmm an adjustable that I've already found one on the cheap. How does it shave? Is it comparable in shave and build quality to old Slims and Fatboys?
