This is possibly a dumb question (or likely), buy how are you disposing of your used blades so no one gets cut?

I have young kids... How are you keeping the blades out of harms way?

Since I ordered from Phil back when he used to give out freebies, I have a couple of cheap blade banks I just toss my blades into.... If you want cheapo and don't want to fuss with anything, go to the grocery store and buy a small can of broth, cut a slit in the top of it, drain, and rinse it out; viola cheapo blade bank.

We put ours in an Altoid tin. When it is full, we will label it, tape it shut & put it in the recycling bin.

I've been using the slot in the medicine cabinet for the last year. When I don't have a slot in the medicine cabinet, I have an old salsa jar I rinsed out and glued the top on which I cut a slit in the top of. It'll be good for a few years.

I have a blade bank I paid a buck for. When that's full, I've thought about a little coin bank, or maybe just an empty can, as has been discussed.
I also use the plastic packaging that some blades come in, usually those that come in packs of 10. They have a slot on the back for used blades and will hold more than 10 used blades.

I use a piggy bank.. and every time I hear the satisfying sound of the spent blade hitting the piggy bank bottom, I think of money saved..:D

unfortunately my wife has MS and has to inject herself three times a week, the company that supplies the needles and machine she uses also supply a disposable sharps box once a month to dispose of the needles, so I put my used blades in that!!!!!

I cut a slit in a soda can, pour the soda in a glass, rinse the can, and have a blade bank that will last a couple of years easily. I'm going to remodel my bathroom and am thinking of cutting a slit in the medicine cabinet and going old school........What the heck, it's my house.

I use a small glass jar with a screw cap. When that fills....I dispose of it in a sharps box at work.

Not a dumb question at all.
I used a empty broth can with a silt in the top. I like Swarden idea of coin bank too. I saw an old fire truck bank at the flea market that would make a great used blade storage.

I took a 1 lb plastic Folger's coffee "can", glued the top, cut a slit in it, put a label on it and it'll hold my used blades for the rest of my life. At most 2 blades a week and I'm 70.
