At the Salvation Army and I got these blades for under 75 cents. Three are still wrapped, one was open but looks unused, so that's the one I took pics of. Are these still good to use?

Yeah, I have a couple of the Gillette Thin. They definitely don't make these anymore. Wish they did! The color is awesome.

    So I guess "H2" puts this @ 1962?

H2 on a Gillette would be 2nd quarter (April-June) 1962 if it's a Tech or TTO (Super Speed/Flair Tip), yes.

BTW, your Thin blades in copper color would have been made in 1960 or before. They apparently quit making the Gillette Thin blade some time in 1960.

Blade date codes predate the razor date codes so it could be about 26 years prior to 1962. Maybe 1936? Razor Archive has blade date codes too if you look on their Gillette page.

Oh, my bad -- I thought he was talking about a razor. I didn't even recall that some blades had date codes, to be honest! Read it once before but promptly forgot about that.

So yeah, what @FlightMedic said ;)
