My SO was telling me she thought she remembered her father buying something called Blue Diamond Blades when she was a little girl. She said it was a blade made of plastic with two strips of steel and that they were cheaper than other blades. Personally, I know all too well how our childhood memories can evolve into the unusual and weird. I am thinking she is remembering the Gillette Blues when they came out with a silicone coating. The Gillette diamond logo on the box my make her remember them as Blue Diamond Blades. But why would she have thought of them as cheap (i.e., inexpensive)? What do you think?
