That was in jest. But should you wish to grind beans efficiently and evenly, I've been very pleased with this model…. Less than 1/2 the cost of the one I pictured prior. User-friendly and keeps leftover ground beans fresh. Breville Smart Grinder
I have one at the camper, have used it for several years now. No complaints. Makes a pretty good cup of coffee after you get the hang of it. I bought it because it takes up a small foot print on the counter. Dave
I use my blade grinder, mostly because it takes up little space on the counter which is at a premium with all the other gadgets. If you keep the time down to a minimum it grinds just fine, and for the aeropress, when making espresso, I like it ground to almost dust anyhow. For the pour over or the regular drip, I keep the time down. Enjoy, man, the coffee is so much better fresh ground!
This morning I let it run the programmed 15 seconds for medium grind, whereupon it shuts itself off. It came out looking just like pre-ground canned/bagged coffee. Didn't notice any chunks and the flavor was a tad more intense than last night. The Wife thought it's too potent for her, so for her I may try 8 O'Clock or DD regular roast and save the Peet's for myself.
I had the Cuisinart for years. Switched to the Bodum and never looked back. It has a more consistent grind and is quieter than the Cuisinart.
Can you get those in the US? Home come you can get Scandinavian products but we can't get American products haha
Mainly because America seems to like to shoot itself in the foot when I comes to trade imbalances, but that's a topic for another forum.
