Some shavers are nuts about SR's, some about scents and some nameless show-offs are nuts about brushes. Soooooo....I say we're long over due for a shameless glamour shot of the: Brushes in your Den Thank you for indulging me.
Nice collection. My horde is a treat to use but isn't much to look at.... I have 5 of the Barbear Classico Semogues (Mistura and Texugo) and a 2000.
Thanks Ed, the Thäter is a very luxurious Fan knot. The beehive handle is surprisingly comfortable. The Vie-Long Beehive is a better handle, (notice the diameter at the widest part of the beehive) but the Thäter is a better knot, due to better backbone, shape and flow-through.
I remember when I had but one brush in my den. My oh my how things have changed. Maybe I will take some pictures tomorrow. I don't have any idea how many brushes I currently have. I do know that most of them are Jayaruh brushes though.
My boyfriend and I bought brushes the other day but I haven't used it yet! He said that it was such a wonderful smooth shave and it was a fun experience to get the lather up! I'm gonna get mine out tomorrow! So excited!
The wife still doesn't fully trust making a lather so I do it for her. Don't mind actually quite enjoy it. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
Just over two years into SBAD. I've traded off a few, gifted some to friends & family as starter kits. I think I'm starting to understand my preferences. These are the ones that make my lather, though some more than others. .
My wife mostly uses the canned cream, though she did enjoy some Stirling samples I had. I think she perceives it as too much work, but it takes less than a minute to whip up a good lather.
That's a cool photo! It looks like a storefront display. I'll gather my brushes later today for a photo shoot.
