You have a Vision which you like, the Futur on its lowest setting is more aggressive than the Vision on its highest setting. Try the Futur at 1 with different blades to see if you can find your grove.

I tried with Astra SP and it's a little smoother but I still nick myself a little. I also tried derby, shark, and wilkinson... My conclusion is Futur is so agressive that I might have to take a break from it. For time being Rockwell 6S and Merkur Vision 2000 are the most reliable razors to me!

I get fantastic shaves from my Futur, with rarely a nick and seldom irritation. That said, it does demand solid technique and I don't recommend it for a first razor. Maybe put it aside for now and pick it up again later when you're ready.

It is possible for the Futur to get stuck above 6, in which a setting of 1 is actually 7. While i doubt this is your problem you might give it a shot. Pop off the cap and remove the blade. Push down the top piece while tightening the adjustment handle until it bottoms out at the dot just below 1. Then reassemble and readjust.

The folks telling you to try different blades are onto something. Not every blade performs equally well in every razor.

Well, I have tried most of the blades except Kai and Feather. My conclusion is the Futur blade gap is too wide even the smallest setting. No matter what I used I always ended up with nicks or cuts. So I think I might have to put it aside and move on with the big brother Vision 2000!

Anyway, thank you all for your advices!
    Time to move on.

I hope we have been helpful. There is no avoiding the fact that every razor is not equally well-suited for every person.

Of course you guys have been so helpful! Without advices and ideas from you guys, I think wouldn't gone this far in the world of DE shaving.
I agree with you totally!! Combination of blades and razors are so personal. That's why I found DE shaving can turn into my hobby!
    Thank you again!
