Erik Redd Lizabeth, baby, I'm comin' to join ya.

It makes me look a bit sophisticated, whereas glasses make me look dorky.

Well, here's my weeks winning bids on cigarbid.com. Since I won the pipe tobaccos I decided to bid on some cigars to restock my humidor, and like usual I won more than I expected. All the cigars are 5 packs. Shipping's not too bad, and no sales tax.

    Nice haul.

I didn't know drew estates did pipe tobacco. I'm not itching to try it, but I'd be curious what you think. Hopefully, it's not overly flavored (imho) like their cigars.

I really like the Gatsby Luxury Flake. It's made in Denmark by the Scandinavian Tobacco Group "exclusively for Drew Estate", whatever that means. It's Virginia and Cavendish, not an aromatic.

Yesterday and today's cigars: a local made SXM corona bought over in the French capital of Marigot. Medium bodied and yummy and... $4 / stick!

El Ray Del Mundo. I have a small stash, in my cigar chest, and hadn't smoked one of those in several years. It's a great cigar. Smooth and creamy, from start to finish. I haven't smoked a cigar in several months, so this was a treat. Mmmmmmmmm good.

Today I had a Rocky Patel Super Ligero robusto. It was probably the fullest tasting cigar I've had, actually a little too much for me. I prefer something a bit milder.

I had a Black Crown Corona today, a pretty good medium strength cigar at a good price. The pics of a robusto, the corona is 5.5" x 44 ring. I prefer a 42-48 ring cigar over the larger ring sizes. The cigar lists at $4.75, but I got a box of 20 from Pipes & Cigars for about $40 to restock the humidor while I was ordering some pipe tobaccos.

I had a Cohiba, Habana, yesterday. It was a gift from a Greek Importer, an older gentleman, about 90 yrs old. A few years ago he wanted me to have a box he brought back, from his home country, and he wouldn't take no for an answer. I knew they were knockoffs, but I thanked him, took them home, and put them in a humidor, by themselves. I didn't want to risk any beetles, getting in any of my good cigars. Two years later, no beetles.
After some yard work, I fired one up, and relaxed outside. This one was mild and an OK smoke, but not the real deal. It was good for an outside smoke, to unwind. I think I will pop in on the old gentleman and see how he is doing, later this week.
