Hey guys, Had an opportunity this afternoon to visit a local dealership I found yesterday. Thought you guys might like these! Enjoy .
I love the judge but if I was going to get a GTO or if I had the money to get a GTO I would definitely try and find a convertible
Wrong era of Corvette pictured. I'd take a split window or even earlier though. This was my high school car. I'd take it too.
COOL! Gotta be the GTO. My first car was a '67 LeMans, a GTO wanna-be. I do prefer the '66 and '67 models, but hey, I wouldn't turn away a '69, or any other year for that matter, if one was given to me. And I never have been fond of convertibles.
Interesting poll. I drove all of these cars back during that time period, except for the Challenger. My Stepfather worked for Harry Mann Chevrolet. At one time or another he brought one of these cars home. I got to drive them on occasion. I have a soft spot for the original Stingray. My folks raced one in 1963 and if you have ever watched the movie Viva Las Vegas, their Stingray was behind the car Elvis was working on in the garage scene. This is a picture of it back in 1963 when it raced. This is a picture of a it after being restored by Corvette Mike. My Mom came up with the idea of making the numbers look like dice. This is a picture of the car when it was in the movie Viva Las Vegas. Those were some great times. Greg W.
That's an awesome post Greg. You are definitely one lucky guy to have had the chance to drive these cars. The Stingray definitely looks amazing. You have a piece of history there!
I'm a lover of the 1955-1957 Chevy Apache! I had a 1955... But I sold it.. Along with my balls.. The wifey made me get rid of it
Not much Ford Love. But that's OK, leaves them for us that do! I had a '68 Torino that was fun, but my '72 Mach 1 was a dream car from high school days. One of my nephews has a late sixties Cougar tucked away somewhere...
